Whatever a person feels, he feels inside. A person is a certain organ of perception. It does not matter how it is called. A person feels whatever enters him through vision, sound, touch, smell, and taste. All these sensations are accumulated, summed up in a person’s brain, and then compared with his memory, various properties, habits and customs, which are in effect also memory and instincts. Afterwards the brain produces a final picture and projects everything onto a certain screen that is situated as if on the back of one’s head.
That which exists outside is called the “Light.” This Light has absolutely no properties except that which we perceive inside of ourselves—the property of bestowal. We perceive bestowal as a feeling of pleasure, love, delight, and fulfillment. Therefore, everything depends on our properties: our memory, habits, genes, upbringing, and in general, on how attuned we are.
