We are on such a small level of our petty egoism that it’s the easiest thing in the world to govern us — it’s possible to turn us to any direction. We can redirect our attention to a different thing from one day to the next: if the Light glows for us and illuminates honor instead of money, or fame instead of honor, or food, or something else instead of fame, ( it can be anything ), then we immediately aspire there, to where the Light glows, and we run to it like mice.
It’s difficult to govern us? We are absolutely governed. Absolutely! It is the easiest thing to govern us. We are puppets in the full sense of the word, dolls. I am a desire and the Light controls this desire, then what to I have at all, what freedom of will or anything else? The question is completely not… We are nothing, we do not exist by ourselves, no one has his own “I” that is independent, outside of the Light and the Spiritual Vessel. There is Light and there is the Spiritual Vessel, and there is no other factor. We do not have independence. We have to acquire it, find it and build it in order to be outside of the Light and outside of the Spiritual Vessel, outside of the Creator and outside of the desire that He created. This is great work.
