We want to make this world better. But being in it, we can’t do this because this world is governed from above. If we master the Upper Forces, we’ll change our world. Otherwise we won’t change it to the better; we’ll only be spoiling it all the time. We want to sense the Upper construction, which actually governs everything.

This common Upper construction is called the common soul. It really exists, and we exist in it now. But we are in the state of concealment and perceive our existence as isolated and dim. This is called “this world.”
