When a person is born he does not understand at all what he is or why he exists. We can see this, to an extent in babies. This small creation that has appeared is not aware of anything; it does not understand anything and it is not able to do anything. But later on, gradually, it develops all sorts of attainments, realizations and different desires of its own. We cannot understand how this happens, but we are already used to the fact that it manifest in such a way. Suddenly we see that the child will begin doing things on his own, and he is able to think about things and understand how to handle them. “Look at what he did, he understood, see how he reacted,” and so on. In other words, all that gradually manifests under the influence of…what? Well, we do not know exactly, but, generally, under the influence of the Surrounding Light.
