Is there an indication that a man advances on his spiritual path?

A person is after life’s pleasures and who isn’t? Newcomer starts his spiritual development, being attracted by some good sensations, in the other words, feels his proximity to the Creator. After some initial success bad feelings arise, in the other words our hero has been driven away from holiness. It seems that the spiritual progress comes to halt.

Not at all. It’s the best indication that the newcomer does well on his way. If a person feels bad, this means he is revealing egoism’s genuine relation to the Creator’s attainment. This means a person has already begun to perceive the truth. He must be thankful that this perception has become revealed to him.

So no cries for help are necessary. 🙂
